I only just joined newgrounds, but I have been producing dubstep for a year now. This is just a great track all around! Its very simple, yet it brings its point forward.
Now I will rarely give a 10/10 rating to anyone. That would mean its "perfect".
Will take a lot for someones work to be perfect in my ears!
I loved the bass in this tune man. Its like modern style dubstep, but with a dark feel. Smolder is a great name for it man!

I also understand the whole "10" thing, so a "9" is still just about as awesome. I'm glad you liked the drums and thought the name was fitting! Its really cool that you think this song's got a "dark feel" to it as well - I can dig that.

Wicked intro, structure is all there, some pretty decent drum work. I know DnB drums can get tricky. The melodies are amazing. The drop was smashing. Just a few things song raw, like some of the drums, and the wobble bass you have in the background in the first drop, seems a bit raw. It could have more character. Keep at this though!! It had my head moving for sure! You could definitely go places!
Hopefully most of the song wasn't built with samples / loops. A lot of people try to get away with drumstep/dnb by using a lot of loops / samples.
Very good assertions. The drums themselves were sampled from full bars and sliced/rearranged, then EQ'd as a whole rather than individually so they sound like shit.
I wasn't aware of how bad the mix was until I got new headphones, now that I can hear things correctly (I was using a gaming headset, haha my mistake) my mixing has gotten much better IMO.
